Pri nekonečnom šťastí sa mi podarilo splniť si jeden z mnohých snov a teraz som na jeden rok zakotvila v Tokiu, aby som sa lepšie naučila jazyk a spoznala tamojšiu kultúru. Úloha to bude neľahká a kultúrnym šokom a prekvapeniam sa asi nebude dať vyhnúť. Aj preto som sa rozhodla zriadiť si malý blog - aj aby som nemusela vypisovať stovky mailov o tom istom rôznym ľuďom.
A pretože je tento blog určený všetkým mojim známym, budem sa snažiť písať dvojjazyčne - v slovenčine a angličtine. Zrejme sa tu budú objavovať najmä nejaké zaujímavosti, ktoré niečím upútali moju pozornosť, postrehy ohľadom "stereotypov" nakoľko to moje pozorovacie schopnosti umožnia, ale aj každodenné radosti či starosti. Jednoducho, taký normálny zápisník... Snáď sa v ňom teda podarí vytrvať.
P.S.: Vzhľadom na pomerne neskoré zriadenie tohto blogu, nebudú niektoré zápisy tak celkom v chronologickom poradí. Rovnakov ňom nebude zatiaľ až tak veľa zaujímavostí, keďže som prvé 2 týždne stráfila chorá... Za porozumenie ďakujem :)

Somehow, one of many dreams came true and I have landed in the Land of Rising Sun - for one year to study hard the Japanese language and experience their culture in Tokyo. Without any doubts it will be a difficult time and culture clashes will occur. That's one of the reasons why I decided to start this blog - to write about many things which have cought my interest in some way, things I enjoy or worry about, describing "stereotypes" related to Japan and her people as I myself view them, daily life occurences, both happy and sad. Simply, I would like to lead a little series of various experiences and to share them with my friends in this way. And as my friends are of different nationalities, I will try to write in English too. Please, wish me luck and patience :)
P.S.: Since this blog was created rather late after my arrival, some of the eary posts might not be in chronological order and oldest memories a little bereft of its emotionality. Also it won't be that interesting, as I haven't visited many places, due to being sick first 2 weeks... I thank you for your understanding in advance :)
